Description
My first full gouache paintings (although the background for the blue one is acrylic ink)! I can't believe I've left trying them out this long, I am fully converted - they're so much better than acrylics! If you make a mistake you can still wet and mix it again and they're so much more versatile.
Anyway, this was just to brighten up my sketchbook and add a little more colour to it, and I liked the idea of contrast between warm and cool colours.

Acrylics are absolutely the worst but no one ever tells you D: We all have to suffer and figure it out ourselves lmao
I think gouache is super effective for your work, the colours are really strong and vibrant! They make these pieces really powerful, nice work!
